Fall Retreat
The Fall Retreat is an opportunity for students and faculty to get away to the mountainside and enjoy time with God and each other. A special speaker, faculty-led workshops, extended times of worship, and a bit of “down-time” to get to know each other are all part of our time together.
Activities
The student life committee plans many events each semester such as hiking, laser tag, sporting events, games days & BBQs. The college has a full-size gym and exercise room.
Student Lounge
Breaks between classes often find students in the lounge playing Foosball, air hockey, or grabbing a snack on sale at the snack counter.
Annual Corn Maze
To start off the college year, the students, staff and faculty get lost to see if they can find the end of the maze and the roasted marshmallows that follow! It is a great time to both connect with fellow students and staff while challenging your orienteering skills.
International Dinner
The student body at CFN is made up of many cultures and countries. An International Dinner is held each semester to celebrate this rich diversity and eat too!
Community lunch
Community is important to Cfn. Community lunches are one of the ways in which Cfn cultivates an atmosphere of fellowship and fun.
Chapel
Presidents Chapel There are two President Chapels each semester. This is an exciting time where students hear from President Nussbaum as well as celebrate the start and finish of the semester.
Celtic Chapel Celtic chapel has a unique rhythm which incorporates Celtic liturgy, Bible readings, devotional sharing and contemporary worship. It introduces students to a liturgy that will become familiar and something to cherish.
Community Connections
Community Connections offers a time for guys and girls to connect respectively and has become a place where students are encouraged, edified and prayed for.
Student Lounge
Breaks between classes often find students in the lounge playing foosball, air hockey, or grabbing a snack on sale at the snack counter.
College Day Every Spring CFN holds a college day to introduce people to CFN. Visitors spend the day in classes with students, attend chapel and enjoy a community lunch.
Library
The library has a fully automated circulation system. The collection concentrates on Bible and theology, and practical theology. There are computers and printers for student use. The library of Trinity Western University is ten minutes away. |
