Christ For The Nations Bible College is a trans-denominational school and our students come from a variety of church backgrounds.

We affirm three historic creeds of the early Church: The Apostles’ Creed, The Nicene Creed, and The Athanasian Creed.

We affirm:

OUR TRIUNE GOD
We believe in one God, creator of heaven of earth, manifesting in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

THE PERSON AND WORK OF JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ as the sole Saviour of the world, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. We believe that Christ died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He ascended bodily into heaven where He is enthroned and ever lives to pray for and govern His Church. His return to earth will be accompanied by the resurrection of the living and the dead.

HUMANITY AND SIN
We believe that humans possess inherent dignity as God’s image bearers but have fallen because of sin and cannot restore themselves into a right relationship with their creator.

SALVATION
Salvation is the application of the work of Christ to the lives of humans. In Scripture, salvation embraces the whole history of God’s saving activity and the history of human reception of it. Humanity’s redemption was purposed by the Holy Trinity in eternity past, effected by Christ through his perfectly obedient life and atoning death, and will consummate in a final vindication of those he has adopted in his great love. By the grace of God, through repentance and faith, we are united with Christ and await the glorification of the entire created order. At the last, believers shall be saved completely – spirit and soul and body. The salvation that every true believer possesses includes all the blessings one shall ever need.

THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ and that believers should assemble regularly for corporate worship, fellowship, and communion. God’s ultimate purpose is that His kingdom constitutes a covenant people who love, serve and worship Him gladly, living according to His principles under His government.

THE BIBLE
We believe that God inspired the writing of Holy Scripture and that it is authoritative in all matters of faith and conduct.

THE SACRAMENTS
We believe that water baptism is the sacrament of initiation and full membership into the body of Christ, and that the gathering of baptized believers in Christ should regularly participate in Holy Communion.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS
We believe in the ongoing reality of all the spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit sovereignly manifests these gifts in believers in order to accomplish the purposes of God and for the edification of the Church.

LIVING THE NEW LIFE OF THE SPIRIT
We believe that those who receive Christ as Saviour must also obey Him as Lord, and should therefore commit themselves to His will for their lives. We believe that after receiving Christ as Saviour and Lord, each believer should continually seek to be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter and Counsellor.

We acknowledge assistance in the form of ideas and phrases from various published works by Thomas Oden, Robert Culver, N.T. Wright and Millard Erickson.
